 Punch Machines and Hydraulic Press Machines

  • Depending on your production needs, the system can be equipped with 1, 2, or 3 units of Punch Machines or Hydraulic Press Machines. These machines are the workhorses of the initial processing stage. Their advanced design allows for rapid and precise punching operations. Whether it’s creating holes, notches, or complex shapes in the backing plates, they can handle the task with remarkable speed and accuracy. The high – power motors and precision – engineered dies ensure that each punch is consistent, meeting the strictest quality standards.   • Hydraulic Leveling Press Machine
  • The Hydraulic Leveling Press Machine is an essential component in our system. After the punching operations, the backing plates may have some unevenness or slight deformations. This machine comes into play, using hydraulic pressure to precisely shape and level the backing plates. It applies a uniform force across the surface of the plate, ensuring that it is flat and smooth. This is crucial for the subsequent assembly processes, as a perfectly level backing plate ensures better adhesion of the friction material and overall better performance of the brake pad. The adjustable settings of the Hydraulic Leveling Press Machine allow for customization based on different types of backing plates and production requirements.

  • Blanked Backing Plates Holder and Feeder
  • The Blanked Backing Plates Holder and Feeder are designed to keep the production line running continuously. The holder stores a supply of pre – blanked backing plates, while the feeder automatically feeds them into the production process at a controlled rate. This eliminates the need for manual intervention in the feeding process, reducing the risk of human error and increasing productivity. The precise feeding mechanism ensures that each backing plate is positioned correctly for the next operation, further enhancing the efficiency of the overall production line.
  • Backing Plates Transport Manipulators
  • The 1, 2, or 3 Backing Plates Transport Manipulators are the connective tissue of the production line. These robotic arms are equipped with advanced sensors and programming, allowing them to pick up, move, and place the backing plates with millimeter – level precision. They smoothly transfer the plates between different stages of the production process, from the punch machines to the Hydraulic Leveling Press Machine, and then to the deburring machine. The Transport Manipulators can work in tandem, coordinating their movements to optimize the flow of parts, ensuring that there are no bottlenecks in the production line.
  • Deburring Machine
  • The deburring machine is the final touch in our production process. After all the previous operations, the backing plates may have some rough edges or burrs left behind. The deburring machine efficiently removes these imperfections, leaving the backing plates with a smooth and finished surface. This not only improves the aesthetics of the product but also enhances its functionality. A deburred backing plate is less likely to cause issues during assembly or in the field, ensuring the long – term reliability of the brake pads. The deburring machine can be adjusted to handle different types of burrs and edge conditions, making it a versatile and essential part of our comprehensive system.
